Install NotchOwl, enter your license key, and add your first task. Here’s how to get started.

Install on your Mac
Download the installer, open the .dmg, and drag NotchOwl into Applications. The current build supports Apple silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later.

Enter your license key
Open NotchOwl from Applications. Copy your full license key from your Dodo Payments purchase email, paste it into the app’s License key field, and choose Activate. You’ll need an internet connection for activation.
Your lifetime license activates NotchOwl on up to 3 Macs. Get your license if you haven’t purchased yet.

Peek at your day
Hover over your Mac’s notch or choose Open NotchOwl from its menu-bar icon. Press Option–N to open the workspace ready to add a task. NotchOwl lives in the menu bar, so you won’t see a Dock icon.
No notch? Your workspace opens at the top of the display. Add a task, start a focus timer, or write in the daily notepad. Connect Calendar only if you want to see your events alongside your tasks.
Need a hand?
For activation help, contact us with your purchase email and the message shown in the app. To move to another Mac, deactivate the current Mac in Settings → License first.
